The orchid on the pebbles is very lovely but I find the blurryness in the front to be distracting. I think it would have been nicer had everything been in focus.

very nice colors. the blueish purples in the petals works well agains the excellent black background and earhty colors in the pebbles. you can tell the shot was nicely executed. great border as well. althoughi might have to agree about the unfocused pebbles up front being a bit distracting. although you did an excellent job with the detail and focus it just seems to pull my eye away from the idea.but thats just being picky though. job well done really.

I love this and wish I could come up with shots like this one. I myself actually like that little bit of bluryness. I think it adds to the piece as a whole. In the end I think it only really matters what you think of it. Sometimes I really think art is for the artist and not the viewer. Viewers are just getting a glimpse of the artists mind. Hope that made some kind of sense. Amazing photo and I admire it and you.
